Kick off the 2023 Mardi Gras Festival with the 3rd annual Mardi Paw March pet walk and costume contest at Lake Sumter Landing on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 3:30 p.m.
All contestants must be registered to participate in the walk.
Located throughout the streets of Lake Sumter Landing you will find several different street performers performing for your entertainment. You wont want to miss any of theses talented artists.
Come dressed in your Mardi Gras best!
Featuring New Orleans based Brown Bag Brass Band.
Food and drink specials include hurricanes, Shrimp Po’Boy & Jambalaya.
Join us early for our happy hour from 3-5pm!
Parking will be limited and available first come, first served. Please consider carpooling, doubling up, driving your golf cars, bike or walking if you live nearby. Please arrive early and expect a large crowd, the Sawgrass Grove area will be in full swing. No overnight parking.

The Featured Car Club may park their cars at 2:45pm. Residents of The Villages may enter from 3-4pm or until the first 150 forms are handed out. The General Public may enter starting at 4pm or after the first 150 forms have been handed out. All cars must register after entering with registration ending at 6pm. Once parked, registrants are not permitted to leave until the show is over.
Vehicles with a model year of 30 years or older are permitted entry. “For Sale” signs may only be displayed in the back seats of a car. No flame throwing, tire burning, or engine revving is allowed.

A laugh-out-loud, side-splitting, hilarious, comedy show! Food trucks will be on site and adult beverages will be available for purchase. Reservations required.
