The festival includes barbecue cook-offs (including competitions for Best Beef Brisket/Steak, Best Pulled Pork, Sumter’s Best Burger, and Taster’s Choice), all day entertainment on TWO stages children’s activities, educational displays, a beauty pageant, and craft, food and merchandise vendors. It is presented by the Sumter County Chamber of Commerce.
