The Villages Musical Theater proudly presents “Crazy For You”. This big Broadway musical includes a number of Gershwin classics, including “I Got Rhythm”, “Embraceable You”, “Nice Work If You Can Get It”, and “Someone To Watch Over Me”, big dance numbers, and a very funny story. First staged on Broadway in 1992, it won both the TONY and Drama Desk Award as Best Musical. The all-Villagers cast has Carter Poust and Sue Schuler in the lead roles backed by 60 veterans of the Savannah stage, including many of the best dancers from the Music In Motion and Evolution Dance groups. Bill Davis directs the production, and Helene Yelverton is the choreographer. The 20-plus piece live orchestra will be conducted by Jean Butler.
