Grab your friends and family and join the fun on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 12:30-4:00 p.m., for the City of Bushnell’s Chili Cookoff! This event will take place in the downtown Bushnell Plaza Park, and the City is requesting Teams/Participants sign up by January 31 (no entry fee). Participants should prepare 2 gallons of chili, and teams may begin cooking at 8:00 a.m. at the event site. Official judging will take place at 12:00 p.m., the event begins at 12:30 p.m., and the People’s Choice Chili judging is from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Winners will be announced at 3:00 p.m., and the Best Decorated “Chili Themed” Booth will win a prize! Armbands for chili tasting and voting will be sold to attendees for $5.00. Kick off the 2023 Mardi Gras Festival with the 3rd annual Mardi Paw March pet walk and costume contest at Lake Sumter Landing on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 3:30 p.m.
All contestants must be registered to participate in the walk.
Located throughout the streets of Lake Sumter Landing you will find several different street performers performing for your entertainment. You wont want to miss any of theses talented artists.
Come dressed in your Mardi Gras best!
