Join us monthly from September – May for natural and cultural history programs for children ages 8 – 18. Programs includes crafts, games, speakers and food.
Membership costs $10/year or family membership $25.

Park Hours and Fees
Dade Battlefield Historic State Park is open from 8 a.m. to sunset every day of the year.
The Visitor Center, which contains the park office and a small museum, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.
Fees:
A fee is required for all entry into Dade Battlefield Historic State Park.
Entrance fees are $3 per vehicle for up to 8 people; additional passengers pay $2 per person.
The entrance fee for bicyclists and pedestrians is $2 per person.
Additional fees may apply for special events.
Please use the blue Honor Fee envelopes available at the front gate to pay entrance fees when no attendant is on duty. Please plan to bring correct change.
The Dade Lodge recreation hall may be reserved for $107 per day, including tax.
Picnic Pavilions may be rented for $53.50 per day including tax.
Facilities may be reserved up to 11 months in advance.

Come take a stroll outside to admire the craftsmanship of our local artists! We will have food trucks, live music, a kid zone, and vendors selling handmade goodies of all kinds.
Commemorating the most widespread armed conflict in history and celebrating both military and popular civilian culture during the war years.
The weekend will include Allied and Axis uniformed reenactors, authentic camps and equipment, mechanized military vehicles, explore home front activities, enjoy 1940’s-Style Music and entertainment, living historians, food vendors. Cost is $5/person; children age 6 and under and all WWII & Korea Vets free.

Join the City Commission and some local students in celebrating Arbor Day at Wildwood City Hall! We will be planting new trees and everyone can grab a shovel and help us continue in being one of America’s Tree Cities! Light refreshments and giveaways will be available for attendees.
Wild foods abound at Dade waiting for educated visitors to sample with expert park staff and volunteers as their guides. We will forage for wild foods on the park grounds, create some wild food dishes and sample! Cost is $3/vehicle or Annual Florida State Parks Pass plus $5/person, 12 and under free.

Florida bats are an important part of our ecosystem, consuming up to 3,000 insects per night.
Join Shari Blissett-Clark as she shares natural history information about Florida bats and does some show and tell with a few live bats.
