Get WILD with your students at Dade Battlefield Historic State Park each month in an immersive educational experience utilizing both indoor and outdoor activities teaching nature’s mysteries in a fun and engaging way! This month we will use curricula from Project Learning Tree curriculum created by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. Cost is free for this educational event. Fall bird migrants have started to move into Dade Battlefield for their wintering grounds. Bring binoculars or borrow some from the park to see these avian visitors as well as our resident birds. 1800’s history comes to life through demonstrations, reenactors and hands-on activities. Event is free for all school groups (homeschool, private and public and their chaperones). No lunch provided, picnic facilities are available. Please RSVP if you are coming with a group.
