Grab your friends and family and join the fun on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 12:30-4:00 p.m., for the City of Bushnell’s Chili Cookoff! This event will take place in the downtown Bushnell Plaza Park, and the City is requesting Teams/Participants sign up by January 31 (no entry fee). Participants should prepare 2 gallons of chili, and teams may begin cooking at 8:00 a.m. at the event site. Official judging will take place at 12:00 p.m., the event begins at 12:30 p.m., and the People’s Choice Chili judging is from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Winners will be announced at 3:00 p.m., and the Best Decorated “Chili Themed” Booth will win a prize! Armbands for chili tasting and voting will be sold to attendees for $5.00.
